Film Information
Éowyn and Faramir's love story is not shown in the theatrical edition of Peter Jackson's film The Return of the King. They are shown together and looking at each other happily at Aragorn's coronation, but aside from these few seconds of shipping, there is nothing left of the Houses of Healing or their romance. Scenes of their love story WERE filmed, but were not included in the theatrical version of the movie. Whether or not these scenes will make the cut of the extended version will be known around Christmas 2004, when that DVD is set to be released. Until then, keep up-to-date with the latest spy reports.
